Jeremy Bussey grew up in the small town of Sylvan Springs, Alabama just outside of Birmingham. Like most kids, he loved to fish, hunt and basically anything outdoors. At the age of 5 he found something else he loved. Music. He started taking piano lessons, started writing his own songs and eventually made his way to Nashville, Tn.
Jeremy has been working with Ron Stuve at Universal Music Publishing Group since 2010. Since that time he has had his songs cut by artist like Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, Chase Rice, Thompson Square, Josh Gallagher (The Voice), Lonestar, Tate Stevens (The X-Factor) and Mark Wills. He has also had his songs placed in TV/Film as well.
During his time as a writer for Universal Music Publishing Group, Jeremy has worked with incredible Nashville songwriters like Jeffrey Steele, Chase McGill, Cole Taylor, Travis Denning, Ryan Hurd and Marc Beeson to name a few. He continues to pour his life and passion into every song.
“It’s an amazing thing when you get to do what you love for a living. I know not many people get that opportunity so I don’t take it for granted. I love this town, my friends, the people I get to work with every single day and I love great music. 2016 has been an incredible year for me and I’m excited to see what 2017 brings!”
