Jeremy Bussey grew up in the small town of Sylvan Springs, Alabama just outside of Birmingham. Like most kids, he loved to fish, hunt and basically anything outdoors. At the age of 5 he found something else he loved. Music. He started taking piano lessons, then later started writing his own songs and eventually made his way to Nashville, Tn. Jeremy started playing songwriter nights all over Nashville. He continued to work at crafting his lyrical skills and ultimately caught the attention of Ron Stuve at UMPG in 2010. These days, he has become the “go to guy” for great lyrics and song ideas. Jeremy has had his songs recorded by artist like Jason Aldean (All Out Of Beer) Brantley Gilbert (Three Feet Of Water) Ashley McBryde – (Title track – Girl Goin’ Nowhere) Chase Rice (Single – Everybody We Know Does) Thompson Square (Single – You Make It Look So Good) Josh Gallagher – (Single – Pick Any Small Town) Lonestar (Single – Just The Rain, Boomerang, Twice, Oh Yeah) Pop/Rhythm artist Nick Bennett (Single – Hotter Than You) Tate Stevens – (Single – Power Of A Love Song, Holler If You’re With Me) Mark Wills (Single – Looking For America, As Much Like Jesus) and others.
He has also had landed songs for sync with Pepsi, and recently Ram Trucks. “I have always loved the stories in songs. That’s why the lyric has always been my strongest suit. I enjoy playing the piano, guitar and singing, but I love writing a great lyric and idea. It’s like putting the last piece of the puzzle together…then starting another puzzle.”
