Warships are an indie band from Los Angeles. The quintet's mix of laid back pop grooves and earnest, playful song-craft is a contrast to many of their contemporaries. Soon after forming, they attracted the attention of producer Raymond Richards, and along with enlisting the help of mixing engineer Darrell Thorp, the band has made a debut album full of undeniable hooks and haunting choruses dressed in dreamy atmospherics.
